The lease agreement for the Ford Expedition LFA is for $3.9M, with 1.3M square foot of space for a 1.8 million-square foot garage.
The deal was signed in late January, with the agreement coming just after the company reported a $1.9 billion net loss for the third quarter of 2018.
The lease purchase comes as Ford prepares to unveil a redesigned lineup of vehicles this summer, and also comes as the company’s future autonomous driving ambitions become more evident.
The company is expected to unveil its first vehicle that will be fully autonomous, the Model 3, this fall.
Ford’s stock fell as much as 4% in after-hours trading.
